In use for more than ten years and has become the preferred power unit for power line contractors and utility companies in Western Canada. To date there are twenty plus units in active service.

This unit was engineered and designed to deal with our mountainous terrain and is capable of working in all but the most extreme slope conditions. Double traction drive wheels result in superior pulling/climbing ability.

Wheels are custom machined to match the diameter of the customer's conductor cables. Unit is suitable for use with single, two and four bundle configurations.

Case is made from machined ALUMINIUM plate to minimize weight. There are pull points on both ends of the case to allow right of left side mounting (and hence pull in other direction). This drive motor is powered by a current generation low emissions HUSQVARNA two stroke engine.
